Nurali:

I would say either reinstall Snow Leopard again. There have been times where I install Snow Leopard once and have to reinstall it again but it somehow did not install correctly (stuff was buggy). You can always go to a Genius Bar and have them see what is going on. Maybe then they can put it in their system as a software bug and in the future maybe patch it up.

So you are saying you are not able to minimize windows by double-clicking them at the top with your new Macbook Pro? That is definitely weird. It should work and you shouldn't have to enable anything. I would try and take it to a Genius at an Apple store. If that is not an option then I would do a clean reinstall of the operating system.

For me, this has only happened a few times and it hasn't happened again since I posted the article on the site. Good luck figuring it though. I am pretty sure it's just a software issue.

I have a comment about windows and minimizing them on my Mac.

I have been able to double click at the top of a document or window on my computer, and it will do the same thing as clicking the little yellow "minimize button" at the top left of the window. I restore it to the desktop by going to the dock and clicking on it.

I bought a new MacBook Pro this week, and I have not discovered a way to make this happen. I looked in Preferences. I searched using keywords such as "minimize windows by clicking," and I have had no luck.

Do you know what I might be able to do?

Thank you!
